Leading home-grown real estate brokerage and consultancy firm Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services celebrates this week its eight anniversary. Led by its president and managing director Michael Mabutol, the company will hold a series of activities to commemorate eight years of real estate expertise in the Philippines.

Starting as an offshoot of Japan-based Capital Servicing Co. Ltd., the company initially specialized in nonperforming loan (NPL) portfolios in the late 1990s. The company then morphed into Capital Servicing Advisors Philippines Inc. (CSAP) in 2005 and started managing ROPA (real and other properties acquired) and NPL assets for various multinational investment banks in the Philippines. CSAP’s formal exit from the Philippine market in 2010 paved the way for the company’s local management team to acquire the firm and renamed it Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services, Inc.

Based in Makati, Pinnacle Real Estate has shown robust growth in such a short time. From NPL and asset management, the company’s services expanded significantly to include general brokerage (residential sales and leasing, investment sales, and commercial leasing), property appraisal, property management, research and advisory, property services, and title transfer.

As part of its research initiative, the company regularly produces reports on the local real estate market. It also established hub offices outside its home turf in Makati, first in Cebu in 2016, and Davao and Quezon City in 2019. The company now has 162-plus employees (and growing), and at present is one of the fastest-growing homegrown real estate service providers in the country.

Php3.1 billion combined worth of properties transacted, more than 1,000 partner brokers and agents across the Philippines, and approximately 235,000 sqm of properties managed later, Pinnacle is well on its way to becoming one of the country’s best real estate brokerage and consultancy firms.
