The Star Group of Companies on Tuesday, June 04, 2013, announced the forthcoming sale by sealed bid of the following asset tranches:

 •2,500+ real estate assets (by individual title) located throughout the Philippines with a third party appraised value exceeding Php 1 Billion

 •600+ performing contracts to sell and deeds of conditional sale secured by real estate assets with outstanding principal balance of over Php 250 Million, with maturity dates ranging from 2013 through to 2019 (2015 average life)

 •65 non-performing and restructured loans, majority secured by real estate assets, with outstanding legal claim of Php 2.50 Billion

 •160,000+ unsecured consumer and auto loans and 300+ deficiency claims

Proposed Sale Schedule:

Due diligence period: 1 July 2013 to 2 August 2013 (physical and virtual datarooms)

Bid submission deadline: 16 August 2013

Expected bid award date: 21 August 2013

Expected date of financial close: 13 September 2013
