In its abiding commitment in providing tech-enabled financial solutions for Filipino consumers, Togetech, Inc. has partnered with Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services, Inc. to offer property owners assessment and payment of their real property taxes (RPT) or amilyar as part of the former’s Moneygment mobile application.
This service—made possible through the partnership between Togetech and Pinnacle—makes processing and payment of RPT seamless and convenient. Property owners won’t have to queue in the city or municipal treasurer’s office of the local government unit (LGU) where their property is located, making sure that payment is made on time. In the long-run, the Moneygment app promotes regularity of RPT payments thus making Filipinos more responsible and tax-abiding citizens.
The initial roll-out of the Moneygment app’s RPT service covers Metro Manila and Cebu. Service to other areas, such as the northern and southern parts of Luzon and Davao, are slated for release later in 2019.
The partnership comes as part of Togetech’s wide array of finance-related offerings and services made possible through the Moneygment app.

Users can download the Moneygment app from the Apple Store and Google Play. Once installed, they can create an account using their Facebook, Gmail, or any other email account, after which they can choose from a wide range of finance-related and payment services available: Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and SSS contributions; bills and other utilities; loan application and payment; and personal income and real property taxes, among others.
To pay for RPT, users need to have their properties assessed first. To do this, they will be asked to fill in needed information, such as title number, full name of the owner as stated in the title, and the local government unit. Afterwards, they will be asked to fill in the tax declaration number. Upon confirmation and payment of the processing fee, users will then be asked to email copies of pertinent documents to customercare@moneygment.ph. They can track the progress of the assessment by tapping the History tab.
Users will receive an email once property assessment is complete. Once the amount has been carefully reviewed, they can then proceed with payment via the different options available. Once paid, they will receive an update that Pinnacle is processing the filing of their RPT. They will then receive their official receipt (OR) and statement of account (SOA) upon completion. All of this can be done without going to the city or municipal treasurer’s office of the LGU where the property is located.
Togetech Inc. CTO Jhoey Cambronero explains how the Moneygment app works.
Togetech is a mobile app development company that specializes in financial technology that focuses on connectivity, financial inclusion, and convenience. More than this, the company also delivers other services that support e-commerce and other FinTech services.
The company launched the Moneygment app in 2018, which is a response to the challenges faced by self-employed professionals, freelancers, and micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSME); homemakers paying for their household helpers or kasambahays; overseas Filipino workers; and the general unbanked population in the payment of government contributions and in the management of their overall finances. These challenges include delays in processing and unposted transactions that lead to postponed benefits.
Pinnacle's assistant manager for property services Liane Mae Cabatuan explains the process of paying real property tax or amilyar.
According to Jessica Palmiano, CEO of Togetech, there is natural synergy between Togetech and Pinnacle. “Our tech infrastructure complements Pinnacle’s real estate expertise to deliver seamless and one-of-a-kind real estate-related payment services.”
Pinnacle is also the country’s largest homegrown real estate consulting and brokerage firm, said its president and managing director Michael Mabutol. “We offer not just brokerage, consulting, appraisal, and property-management services, but also titling services and payment services, which makes us Togetech’s ideal partner in the processing of RPT payments through the Moneygment app.”
With this service, Filipinos can now have another avenue that is more convenient and easier for making real estate property tax payment taking them one step closer to having a more secure future.
The Moneygment is available in both Apple Store and Google Play.
