What is the Golden Visa?
The Golden Visa is a resident-by investment program that opens their country's residency to foreign investors with a minimum of 500 000 Euro investment through real estate or business. Aside from the investment, the foreign national must be of legal age (18+ years old), have no history of criminal records, must not have been refused a Schengen Visa in the past, and must have health insurance in Spain.
Benefits of Golden Visa
- You and your family members - spouses, children under 18, and financially dependent parents will receive Residence Permits, allowing you to live in Spain.
- Holders can travel to all Schengen Zone countries visa-free for up to 90 days.
- You do not need to live in Spain to renew the Golden Visa. No tax residency or minimum stay requirements.
- If you do live in Spain, you become eligible for permanent residence after five years.
- Allows the holder to work and take part in economic activities. You and your family members can make use of Spain’s health and education system.
